Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is an integral part of your Hosting Agreement with InfoLink Limited (“InfoLink”). By using InfoLink services, you agree to abide by this Policy. Violation of the AUP may result in the suspension or termination of your account. InfoLink’s AUP is designed to protect InfoLink, its customers, and the broader internet community from irresponsible or illegal activities. This policy is not exhaustive, and InfoLink reserves the right to amend it at any time, effective upon posting at http://www.infolinkbd.com/acceptable-use-policy/.
Prohibited Uses of InfoLink Systems and Services
- Illegal Content and Activities
The transmission, distribution, or storage of any content that violates any applicable law or regulation is prohibited. This includes material protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights used without permission, as well as obscene, defamatory, or illegal content. - Unsolicited Bulk Email (“Spam”)
Sending any form of Unsolicited Bulk Email (spam) through InfoLink’s servers is strictly prohibited. This includes using InfoLink’s services to advertise or respond to spam sent from another service provider. InfoLink accounts cannot be used to solicit or respond to spam messages originating from other providers. - Unconfirmed Mailing Lists
Subscribing email addresses to any mailing list without verified permission from the email owner is prohibited. All mailing lists run by InfoLink customers must be Closed-loop (“Confirmed Opt-in”). A subscription confirmation for each address must be kept on file as long as the mailing list exists. Purchasing third-party email lists for InfoLink-hosted mailings is also prohibited. - Unauthorized Software and Services
Advertising, distributing, or otherwise making available any software, program, product, or service designed to violate this AUP or any other provider’s AUP is prohibited. This includes software or services that facilitate spam, denial-of-service attacks, or other disruptive activities. - Spam Operations (ROKSO Database)
Operating an account on behalf of, or in connection with, any person or organization listed in the Spamhaus Register of Known Spam Operations (ROKSO) database is prohibited. - Unauthorized Access (“Cracking”)
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any account or resource not belonging to you, commonly referred to as “cracking,” is prohibited. - Service Evasion
Obtaining or attempting to obtain InfoLink services by any means with the intent to avoid payment is prohibited. - Unauthorized Access or Destruction of Data
Any unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of InfoLink or customer information by any means is strictly prohibited. - Denial-of-Service Attacks
Engaging in any activity intended to cause a denial-of-service attack, whether on InfoLink’s network or another provider’s, is prohibited. - Network Interference
Using InfoLink services to interfere with other customers’ access to InfoLink’s network is strictly prohibited.
Customer Responsibility for End-User Conduct
Each InfoLink customer is responsible for ensuring that their users abide by this Policy. If InfoLink receives complaints regarding a customer’s users, these will be forwarded to the customer for appropriate action. In cases of AUP violations, InfoLink reserves the right to terminate services or take other necessary actions to enforce the Policy without notice.
